● on the individual pages indicates that the piece is no longer available 2010 MENDING MATRIX SERIES In the MENDING MATRIX series, negative space becomes a primary compositional imperative. Each piece is constructed of individual letter/word elements. Raw edges and loose threads are purposefully retained. Stitches make tentative connections between each element. A mending matrix is laid down. The matrix is worked stitch by stitch , back and forth, repeatedly, mending.
